Drew was pretty brave to lay on the sled and go without any control or even the ability to roll off if necessary.

And of course he had to wait for someone to remove him from the sled as well.

And pull him to the top of the hill. Being two and bundled to the hilt sure makes it hard to walk!

Gabe was flying!!! He went further than anyone else had gone and found himself lodged under a pine tree with snow and branches covering his face and body. He freaked out for a second until someone was able to pull him out.

Gabe and Hampton on a not so perfect run.

Andy's little buddy.

I too braved the frigid weather and Ian LOVED it!

Look at that sweet smile!

I put Ian on the floor when we got inside and this was his attempt at crawling!

Who keeps telling you there's not much snow in St. Louis?! Looks like you have a ton. Glad it can be put to good use with some sledding. Ian is a trooper.
My first year in STL was the same-lots of snow and ice storms and people kept saying this was unusual. And the next 4 years WERE considerably milder. So I guess maybe they were right. But isn't it frustrating driving there in snow with all those crazy STL drivers-especially trying to get off 40 onto Mason and everyone gets stuck???
So fun to find you in the blog world.
i ran out of room in my comment! so i'll sign off now! davina
Yeah! Snow days! Does Ian enjoy it at all? Erin protests sitting in the snow. Not that we've had any around here for a bit. I LOVE the city museum and am jealous that you can go regularly. Last time I was there I ripped my favorite jeans crawling in the caves. Its so great to just get to play (even as a grown up ;0) Great to see your smiling faces! Love y'all!
