Cora the Explorer

Cora LOVES to try and keep up with the boys, to which end we put her in the aquatic survival lessons the boys took. She is officially "done" and is a great floater and swimmer. Here are a couple videos from her winter clothes day. Being as that most kids that drown fall into pools fully clothed, the last week they do a day with summer clothes on followed by fall/winter clothes.

After proving her skills, the instructor pinned one of her arms inside of her sweatshirt and pants, simulating an injury or getting tied up in a pool cover or clothing. She passed with flying colors. I spent the last day of class having her swim to me, swim to the wall...she couldn't get enough. She is most definitely an explorer and we are grateful she knows how to properly explore in the water.

My boys think those videos are awesome. Timmy said, "I wish we had a baby like that!" (Sorry, Adelyn) Anyway great job, Cora! I wish I could find that program near us.
