Ian is now 22 months and refuses to talk. I say refuses because every now and then he'll throw out a word, but if you ask him to repeat it he smiles and shakes his head no. Figures. So tonite he was actually saying something...repeatedly. Amazing.

Adorable!
Ella at the same age is talking a lot but with almost entirely made up words. I swear she's telling stories, but I don't understand more than the names of her brothers. "Duckie" is a lot of sounds! I think Ian is just waiting for what's worth saying.
So cute! My boys, Timmy and Jack wanted to watch it over and over!

Oh, how I miss you! I've been thinking about you today, so I decided to visit your blog. You have the most beautiful family. I'm sending you a big hug.
Love,

That's hilarious...Wyatt was the exact same way. We'd ask him if he could say something and he would simply look at you and nod really big, meaning, "yes, I can say anything, I just choose not to." It's like I could read it in his eyes:) Now he surprises me everyday with a new word of at least three syllables! It's crazy how fast they develop!
I miss you friend.. hope you are well!
