Birthday Trip to Grant's Farm

We went to Grant's Farm for Gabe's Birthday (yet another free attraction in St. Louis--though you do pay for parking). It was originally the farm of Ulysses S. Grant and now is home to buffalo, ostriches, deer, swans and other such wildlife. They take you through that section of the park in a tram and then drop you off to visit the tamed wildlife...goats, camel, elephant, tortoises, fox, llama, kangaroo, donkey and so on. The boys got to feed the goats and the camel, which you can't do at the zoo (yet was the only thing Gabe wanted to do at the zoo). The "extra" boy in our line-up is our neighbor, Isaiah, from upstairs. Believe it or not, we enjoyed our morning with 4 boys!

The camel is my favorite. Looks like one of my uncles. Imagine that, a camel in St Louis MO
