At Home

We are glad to be home, though it has taken a bit to adjust to everyone being around again. I took Ian to the doctor today and though his saturation levels were better than when we left the hospital on Wednesday, he'll be on oxygen at least through the weekend. We'll head back to the doctor on Monday and see if we can ditch the oxygen. The hardest part about it is that Ian is pretty well connected to a tank and hard to carry around the house. If I didn't have any other children, this wouldn't pose much of a problem. The good news is that Andy will be home to help over the weekend. The doctor also said his chest sounded a bit crackly, so he hasn't beat this thing yet. Ian continues to eat well and has a little more alert time...I guess that could have something to do with the fact that he was supposed to come a week ago. Now he seems more like a "normal" newborn to me. He has even had a couple of fussy times the last 2 nights where he seems inconsolable. It's good to see him perking up, though I'm certainly not asking for more fussy times. Please pray he kicks this virus and that the Lord keeps him healthy. Pray that I would remain healthy as well and that the sleep I get would restore my body and soul each day.
